The charming villages of Nes and Buren are also nearby. Nes is just 1.4 kilometers away and offers everything you need: shops, terraces, and charming restaurants. Within walking distance of the house are beach pavilions like Sjoerd and Bravo, perfect for lunch or dinner.
Those who enjoy being active can cycle straight from the house into the dunes or hike through the woods. In Buren, near Klein Vaarwater, you'll find a swimming pool for a relaxing day, and the Ameland Nature Center is also nearby, a fun and educational outing for all ages.
Head further east and you'll discover the beautiful nature reserve 't Oerd, where peace and quiet can still be found. Or explore the west side of the island with the charming villages of Ballum and Hollum, where you can also see the Ameland lighthouse.

Free bicycles are available. They will be delivered to the house upon prior arrangement with the manager. Use of the bicycles is at your own risk.
The manager will send an email approximately one week before arrival to ask which boat will be taken, how many bicycles are required and whether there are any other special requirements.
A stay at this property includes bed linen and a towel package; a fee is charged per booking and per person.
It is not permitted to stay with more people than reserved.
